Reality Wanted had a casting notice up with a February 4/08 deadline for The SEARCH FOR THE NEXT GREAT MAGICIAN from producer Studio City. They were soliciting video and DVD tapes from, “Stage, parlor, street, any and all styles and talents are welcome." 100 were to be chosen to compete in the televised search for the next great magician. You had to be 18 or over to participate. To apply to be on SEARCH FOR THE NEXT GREAT MAGICIAN, you had to send a "5-minute tape or DVD showing off your abilities in the art of prestidigitation," with your name, address and phone number to:
