On December 27/07 The Clark Brothers were named The NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND in what was probably the show's only season. The low-rated premier audience of 3.5 mil was only the beginning. Airing on Friday nights, the worst night of the week for TV viewing by the show's target demographic, NGAB lost viewers weekly, bottoming out with 2 mil for the series finale, which aired Christmas week. They never gave it a chance, which is a shame. Between the Clark Brothers, 2nd place 6 Wire and 3rd place Mile High Band, the series showcased some great music.
