An open call for season 2 of CAN YOU DUET, the CMT singing competition for country duos that did so well in its debut run last spring, will be held at the Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville, Tenn., on March 7/09. If you can’t make the open call, you will be able to submit a video audition, but the particulars for that weren’t yet up on the casting site when last we checked.
In 2008 a CAN YOU DUET open call was held in southern California as well as Nashville, but that will not be the case this season. According to the casting director, "Because of our abbreviated casting schedule this season, there's only one open call this season. While a Tape Submission is strongly encouraged (we may contact some contestants in advance based off early submissions), hopefuls MUST attend that call if they want a chance to be on the show."
