VH1's AMERICA'S MOST SMARTEST MODEL was a tongue firmly in cheek competition series that premiered on VH1 October 7/07. Seven men and 7 women competed for the title and $100,000. An online competition was held from November/07 through January/08 for people who wanted to be on AMERICA'S MOST SMARTEST MODEL 2 (congratulations, Leila). Unfortunately, it seems the show has not been renewed..
There was a notice up on the show website that read, in part, "We have some sad news. Unfortunately, AMERICA'S MOST SMARTEST MODEL 2 will not be hitting the runway anytime soon." The notice has been replaced with the usual stuff - season 1 episodes, bios, behind the scenes clips, yadda-yadda, and an ongoing competition similar to the one Leila won in January but without the prize of appearing on season 2. Weird: the show is dead but the promotion lives on.
