Lifetime’s dance competition YOUR MAMA DON'T DANCE (premiered Feb. 29/08; live finale was April 18th) paired 10 professional dancers (5 males, 5 females) with their parents. The series followed the young pros as they taught their parents how to dance. The child-instructor paired with the parent-student on a weekly basis to dance together in front of a studio audience. One pair was eliminated each week.
